Advent is a time of preparation for Christmas - the time of the year where we want everything to be perfect. As with any preparation process, things do not always go to plan as we prepare. Imperfect may be a more apt word to describe our current reality as we prepare for Christmas this year. However, this is not unique. Imperfect would have probably been the word to describe the events surrounding the first Christmas as well. Yet, God was perfectly at work even though it did not appear so. As Christmas draws near, our hope is that you would be able to see how God is perfectly at work in the midst of everything that seems imperfect to us at this moment.
