Each year on Good Friday, we have a special Tenebrae service. Tenebrae in Latin means “darkness.” Throughout the service, as we reflect on Christ’s sacrifice for us on the cross, the candles in the room will be blown out until we are sitting in complete darkness. This is a time of somber reflection, of sitting in the literal darkness as we consider the weight of all that Christ took upon himself. It’s a powerful way to prepare our hearts to celebrate Resurrection Sunday, as well. We invite you to come and participate with us on Good Friday. Service times & locations are listed below.
