Ash Wednesday is a day where we remember our mortality - from dust we came to dust we will return. But we also remember that because of Jesus’ journey to the cross and resurrection, death does not have the final word. The Kingdom of God is not a temporal one, but an eternal one. So, Ash Wednesday is a day marked by repentance, that we might live right in light of this truth, and remembrance, that we might give thanks in light of this truth.
We will have our prayer chapel open from 7am-9am for a time of individual prayer and worship and for you to receive the imposition of ashes.
