Ken & Brooke Kendall
Pastors of Hope Chapel Legends
Ken and Brooke have served together in ministry since 1989 as youth pastors, worship pastors, executive pastors and co-pastors in their current ministry role. These ministries have given them opportunities to serve locations in Kansas, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. The Kendall family returned to Kansas in 2010 to pastor Village West Family Church with a strong calling to minister to families and community of western Wyandotte county. With a bible degree from Central Bible College, Ken completed his masters in Christian Ministry from the Assemblies of God Seminary. Brooke received an Associate of Arts in Music from Central Bible College and returned to Evangel University to complete a B.S. in Business and a Masters of Organizational Leadership in 2020. Ken and Brooke share a calling and passion to minister to people and provide transformational change in people’s lives. Ken and Brooke are proud parents to three adult children, Brendan, Brienna and Bryson, daughter in law Kacey, son in law Austin, and grandson Beckham.
Jake & Sarah Zaske
Pastors of Hope Chapel
Jake and Sarah have served alongside each other in ministry for the past twenty years in diverse contexts including England, Southern California, and New York City where they planted a church in 2008 that continues to thrive today. In 2017, they followed God's calling to move to the Kansas City metro to serve as pastors of Hope Chapel (formerly Indian Creek Community Church). Jake holds his Doctorate of Ministry in Organizational Leadership from Capital Seminary and Sarah holds her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. Together, they are passionate about establishing and leading healthy, thriving churches where people can experience whole-life flourishing as they find hope in Jesus, and be on a life-long mission as they bring hope to others. Jake and Sarah are the proud parents to two children, Caleb and Grace.
